Evony is a FREE,yes we all love that word, browser based real time strategy game with massive online multiplayer.From the time you start playing, building your first cottages,troops,farms.
Till you launch full fledged attacks against your enemy taking they're resources,and maybe even they're city,Evony will have you begging for more.
Evony is like many RTS games. You build cities,conduct research to improve pretty much everything,mass troops,and launch attacks, but in its self it has great properties.
You'll be able to join alliances,take part in huge wars,and plunder your rivals cities of its resources. It also features a unique ranking system,where the leveling is
based off of medals instead of the ,all to bleak, over used experience point system. With the excitement of developing your own city,building your army,joining others
in alliance to conquer your enemies, its hard not to see why Evony is so popular.
The system for war in this game is just amazing.You can scout out your enemies cities,to see how many troops,resources,defefenses, and even what level all of theyre technology,
and building are. Giving you perfect insight on what and how many to send. It will also show you if the city is worth your time, or if you'll be sending your troops to a slaughter.
With it being real time based, you'll also be able to strategicly plan your attacks so your enemy is facing wave after wave on your onslaught.
They're are a wide variety of offensive and deffensive troops to stock up on and to show the might of your city with. For the offensive we have workers,warriors,scouts,pikemen,
swordsmen,archers,calvary,cataphracts,transports,ballistas,battering rams,and catapults. Now while the workers and transports are they to mainly move resources from one city another,
weither it be from one of your own cities or if its plunder from a enemies city. The archers,pikemen,swordsmen,calvalry,cataprachts and warriors are defending and attacking. As far
as these troops go the archers will be your mainstay,don't get me wrong the rest are good in theyre own way but the archers are vicous war machines ready to do battle at distance.
You might be asking right about now well what about those other troops you mentioned, well I'm glad you asked. Ballistas,battering rams,and catapults are to take down your opponents
mighty wall,and oh how sweetly they do it.The scouts well, they scout out enemies cities,and valleys for you to let you know what you need of the others. For the defensive we have
traps,abatis,archer towers,rolling logs,and defensive trebuchets....yes I said trebuchets...All of these bad boys are to make sure your city is safe and sucure,and if they manage
to get through them well they still have your offensive troops inside to go through.
